Armenian Studies Courses and Degrees

The Armenian Studies Program offers minor and major track degrees through the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures. The degrees require students to take courses in Armenian history, language, literature and culture offered in the Department of History and the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures.

The Armenian Studies degrees have been offered since 2017. Since then 15 students have graduated with an Armenian Studies minor and 7 students with a major. The program's alumni have pursued graduate study in the fields of journalism, history, law, medicine, English, Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, and engaged and public humanities. They have built careers at the KZV Armenian school, University of Souther California's (USC) Institute of Armenian Studies, Axios, The Armenian Weekly, and USC Museums and Libraries.
